Meet the founder
Legato Academy is led by a performing pianist and devoted teacher whose own students have gone on to earn exam distinctions and competition prizes. Active on the recital stage and recognised for teaching excellence, the founder brings the discipline of the concert platform and the warmth of a great mentor to every lesson — at the piano, and alongside you for the whole journey.
A studio, not a conveyor belt
We keep teaching personal and the community close. Students play for one another at termly recitals in beautiful Cardiff venues, families are part of the journey, and progress is measured in confidence as much as in grades. It's an environment designed to make practice feel worthwhile and performance feel like a celebration.
